Jean Pritchard is an award-winning wildlife artist based in Cumbria, in the Lake District, specialising in detailed and expressive animal paintings and bespoke commissions.
Finalist in the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year and winner of Best British Wildlife at the Association of Animal Artists, her wo rk captures the character, movement and spirit of the natural world. Original paintings and commissions are available, including wildlife subjects and personalised pet portraits.

Latest commission - behind the work
'Ella was rescued from a puppy farm by the scottish SPCA, pregnant, giardia parasite and no fur on her back. She joined the Neilson family after she had had her litter as a sister for Archie and is the sweetest most gentlest girl you could ever meet. We chose this pose as it epitomises relaxation, trust and security, something that was missing from her life up until now. Despite her abusive past she still has the resilience to trust us and put her past behind her. She was a very special girl to paint and one that i will remember always x'
